Kiddie Capers Nursery & Preschool Hurstpierpoint

Kiddie Capers Hurstpierpoint provides stimulating and enabling environments for children ranging from 0-5 years old. Our Nursery and Preschool is based in a small local village with access to local parks and a recreation ground surrounding it. We provide forest school sessions that allow the children to discover and explore the outdoors, it promotes children’s confidence and independence, as well as allowing them to risk take in a safe environment. 

Here at Kiddie Capers Hurstpierpoint we have a wonderful space providing a baby area for children between 0–2 years old with enabling resources and sensory materials for them to learn and flourish in the environment. Our preschool area is designed to meet the needs of children aged 2-5 years, providing stimulating and creative environments for them to continue to grow and learn new skills, we also provide resources for them to become ready for their school transition. 

Our outdoor garden space is enclosed and private with many opportunities for developing understanding of the world and its surroundings including a sand pit, baby garden, kitchen area and we also take trips around the local area including the village using local transport and exploring our surrounding areas. Kiddie Capers prides itself on the high level of training it delivers to its team.

Aligned with our dedication to quality education, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Our experienced staff members create stimulating activities that cater to each child’s unique needs, promoting their holistic growth across various areas of development. By incorporating play-based learning, social interaction, and structured routines, we ensure that children receive a well-rounded educational experience.

Forest School

Forest School is a growing philosophy in the UK and has been adapted from the approach of Scandinavian countries, such as Sweden and Denmark.

Funding Model

We offer both 15 and 30 hour funding for all eligible children
